About Me
I'm a language teacher with a love for traveling the world. A bit of a global nomad, I was born and raised in the United States, but have lived & taught on 3 different continents! I earned advanced degrees in Spanish and French at university and lived in Sevilla, España (Spain) as part of my studies. After graduate school, I taught Spanish, French and Creative Writing (in English) in Atlanta, Georgia before moving to Melbourne, Australia with my husband. There, I taught Spanish to both adult learners and Secondary students. Six years (and 2 kids!) later, we moved back to the US where I taught Secondary school students in Spanish, French and Creative Writing for seven years at a private school in Atlanta, Georgia. We moved to Zürich, Switzerland in 2017 and I earned a level 5 certificate in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) in London, England. For the past couple of years, I have spent time in the Dominican Republic teaching English in a summer camp for Haitian children through a not-for-profit charity called Project Esperanza.
